Nutra-Flo's employees have been busy blogging over the past month. For those who aren't familiar with the term, a blog is a sort of online journal, often focused around a particular topic, and open to comments and responses from the viewing public. We're blogging as a way to share information with you about what's going on with our company and our products. For years now, we have published Tech Bulletins with details on products research and trials. Our company blogs will provide more general information, but across a much wider range of subjects.
Rather than being just a one-way medium for conveying information, blogs are at their best when readers are also contributors, making comments in response to what they've read. You can ask a question, argue a point, or just let the author know that you appreciated what they wrote. Any customer participation is appreciated. We're in the business of sharing our knowledge, so go ahead and ask.
Three company blogs have been published on our website so far: Vijai's Blog by science consultant Vijai Pasupuleti, Eric's Blog by company president Eric Lohry, and Jeff's Blog by Global Marketing Manager Jeff McCalla. Eric found inspiration for many entries during a recent business trip to Thailand, and a lot of fodder for his camera.As the end of 2008 approaches, we're preparing our trade show and conference schedule for the first part of 2008. You can come visit us at our booth at the Iowa Pork Congress in Des Moines on January 23-24. Jeff McCalla will be attending the 2008 International Feed Expo and International Poultry Expo from January 25-26, and you can contact us to arrange a meeting if you will be attending the Expo and would like to visit with Jeff about or business and products.
