New Operations Manager: Kirk Clermont

The Nutra-Flo Protein and Biotech Team has added another valuable member to its sales and production team: Operations Manager Kirk Clermont.

A distinguished Navy veteran with 14 years of manufacturing and engineering experience, Mr. Clermont holds a BS in Systems Engineering (with merit) from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and has passed the Maryland Engineer-in-Training exam.

Mr. Clermont's civilian career has encompassed many industry leading US corporations, including ConAgra Foods, Corning, Inc., Miller Brewing Company, and Schreiber Foods, Inc. Mr. Clermont has completed training in HAZWOPER, high-performance team management, asset management, lean manufacturing, and process improvement. He has managed several Project Safety Management programs and has a zero defect audit record with the Occupational Health and Safety Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Kirk's Clermont's skills and experience will help Nutra-Flo to move forward with several major projects, including Nutraferma plant start-up, modernizing equipment, improving maintenance processes, standardizing operations, and implementing Lean Sigma methodologies.
