Lactocare^®

A 3-stage fermentation process of naturally aged fruit produces the unique direct-fed microbial Lactocare. Lactocare is environmentally friendly and contains biologically safe gastric acid/bile-tolerant microorganisms for piglet diets. Laboratory tests demonstrate that Lactocare possesses effective anti-microbial activity against enteric disease.

The combination of Lactobacillus reuteri and Saccharomyces cerevisiae used in the manufacture of Lactocare produces natural bacteriocins and microbial enzymes that effectively suppress E. Coli O-157, salmonella, and listeria. Lactocare also cuts gas emissions, including ammonia, amines, mercaptans and hydrogen sulfide. Additionally, the microbial enzymes present in Lactocare improve nutrient digestibility.
